February Art exhibitions
Share
This February, I had the opportunity to showcase my work in two prestigious exhibitions in central London.
Boomer Gallery
The first exhibition took place at Boomer Gallery, a renowned art space nestled among iconic architectural landmarks like The Shard and London Bridge. Boomer Gallery serves as a hub of creativity, blending the city's rich history with its vibrant contemporary spirit.
Boomer Gallery stands out for its ability to capture the essence of London's dynamic art scene. With a prime location and a commitment to showcasing diverse artistic voices, the gallery offers a platform for emerging and established artists to shine. With the theme: THE DARK SIDE "The exhibition aims to bridge the gap between the artist’s secluded atelier and the broader world, illuminating the enigmatic beauty that thrives in the shadows."
Two of my artworks were selected for display, and it was a pleasant shock for me. The recognition of my creativity and expression through art was truly unexpected.
Ay Ai: Exploring the Digital World
One of the paintings, titled Ay Ai, delves into the concept of humans in the digital world. It portrays how social media has covered up our true selves, with decisions often being influenced by algorithms and computer processes.
Unjustified Truth: A Personal Expression
The second painting, Unjustified Truth, was created as a personal expression of my thoughts and feelings surrounding the justice system. Originally not intended for public viewing, the painting took on a new significance when I discovered it would be displayed at the Boomer Gallery, located opposite the Southwark Crown Court where I spent three months during a trial that still haunts me. I decided to apply it for exhibition. To my surprise, it was accepted and highly commented by the owner of the gallery
Casting light upon our exhibition is the globally celebrated art critic, Tabish Khan, who will grace our opening event on the 9th of February, delivering an insightful speech on the exhibition’s theme.
The Holy Art Gallery
The second exhibition was held at The Holy Art Gallery, a global powerhouse in the art world with locations in London, New York, and Athens. Known for its curation of exceptional works from talented artists worldwide, The Holy Art Gallery is a beacon of creativity and innovation.
Immerse myself in the world of art where the holy art is absolutely opposite to the Dark Side at the Boomer Gallery. The exquisite showcase of talent and creativity awaits you, inviting you to explore the depths of the human soul through the lens of a masterpiece.
What is the Inspiration Behind "It is all connected"?
Step into a realm where nature's beauty is captured in its purest form. The art piece titled "It is all connected" delves into the intricate web of connections that bind the elements of the natural world together. The water, the mountain, the sun, the wind - every aspect of nature is intertwined in a harmonious dance of colors and shapes.
Experience the Harmony of Colors
As you gaze upon the canvas, you will be transported to a realm where the vibrant hues of the natural world come alive. The rich blues of the water, the majestic greens of the mountains, the warm yellows of the sun, and the gentle whites of the wind all blend seamlessly to create a symphony of colors that soothe the soul.
Connect with the Artist's Vision
Allow yourself to be enveloped in the artist's vision as you contemplate the interconnectedness of all things. Each brushstroke, each shade of color, is a testament to the beauty and complexity of the world around us. "It is all connected" serves as a reminder that we are all part of a larger tapestry, woven together by the threads of nature.
Unforgettable Opening Parties
Attending both opening parties on the same night was a memorable experience for me and the Community Arts Projects members. The atmosphere was filled with music, captivating artworks, and the warmth of companionship. It was a night to remember, celebrating art and creativity in the heart of London.
